When the Legs Feel Heave

When the Legs Feel Heavy Have you ever run and felt like your legs couldn’t carry you anymore? You try to increase your speed, but nothing seems to work. The heaviness sets in, and every step feels like a struggle. That’s the breaking point — the moment where your body wants to stop, but your spirit is being tested. It’s in that heaviness that true strength is born. Endurance is not built when things are easy; it’s built when you push forward despite the weight. So don’t give up when it feels impossible. Keep moving, even if your pace is slow. The victory lies not just in reaching the finish line, but in refusing to quit when everything inside you wants to stop.

The Door You Haven’t Tried Yet

There are things we long to do, but often, when we reach the door, it is closed. We find ourselves caught in a swirl of mixed feelings, asking questions:  What’s behind this door? Will it work? What if I fail? Too often, these questions hold us back. Out of fear of the unknown, we hesitate — sometimes never daring to turn the handle. Some people will open the door and face what lies beyond. Others will walk away, never knowing what opportunities, freedoms, or long-awaited blessings could have been waiting for them. Yes, some doors may even lead us back to parts of our past. But even that can bring lessons we need. The truth is, we are not always stuck where we are because we have to be — sometimes we’re stuck because we’re afraid to act. Fear of rejection, fear of failure, or fear of change keeps us frozen outside the threshold. And yet, not every closed door is meant to stay closed forever. Some are locked only until the right time. Others are already open — but we don’t realize i...

Love Beyond the Good Times

Love That Doesn’t Flinch: What Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 Still Teaches Us I’ve always believed William Shakespeare noticed something profound when he wrote Sonnet 116—“Let me not to the marriage of true minds / Admit impediments.” He wasn’t writing about picture-perfect romance or the easy parts of loving someone. He was naming a love that doesn’t flinch—one that holds steady when life throws its worst weather. The Call of “True Minds” Shakespeare talks about a marriage of true minds. Not perfect minds, not identical minds—true ones. Truth in love means we don’t pretend. We don’t edit out the inconvenient parts of each other. We see clearly, and still choose. That choice becomes the ground we stand on when feelings shift and seasons change. Love That Doesn’t Bend with the Weather “Love is not love / Which alters when it alteration finds.” Those lines cut through the myth that love is whatever we feel in the moment. Feelings are real, but they’re also changeable. True love doesn’t vanish...

Love Beyond the Good Times

Love is so easy, yet people have made it hard. It’s found in the small things — in the details we often overlook. When times are good, love feels effortless. We embrace each other wholeheartedly. But the real test of love comes during the storms. People often forget that love can and will be tested. The question is: will it stand the test of time? Will you still choose love even when everything seems to be falling apart? I’ve come to see love in a different light — a way that words can hardly express. I’ve learned that we create the kind of love we want. It’s about accepting the person you’re with, flaws and all. The moment that truly took my breath away was when love stood firm even in the face of financial struggle. When I tried to fix one thing and something else broke, I saw clearly: love isn’t about material things. It’s about the people in the relationship. It’s in your hands to make it work. Don’t let outside influences dictate your love. Sit down. Talk. Be honest. Be open. You ...
